Bournemouth International Centre
The Bournemouth International Centre was opened on 6th September 1984 as a multipurpose Conference, Entertainment, Exhibition and Leisure Venue at an approximate cost of £19.5million.
The Centre originally boasted 2 Auditoria - the Windsor and Tregonwell Halls - and a multi-storey, 700+ space car park, offering a larger, more modern addition to Bournemouth's traditional Winter Gardens Concert Hall (now demolished), Pavilion Theatre/Ballroom and Pier Theatre.
Russell-Cotes Art Gallery & Museum

Pavilion Theatre
The Pavilion Theatre and Ballroom is Bournemouth's venue for year round entertainment. Built in the 1920s, it retains its original and elegant styling and is Bournemouth's regular home for West End stage shows, Opera, Ballet, Pantomime, Comedy and concerts as well as for corporate presentations and dinner dances, product launches and small conferences.
Pier to Pier walk
Start at either Bournemouth or Boscombe Pier and finish at the other. Enjoy the scenic stroll along the promenade and treat yourself to coffee and cake at one of the many cafes, restaurants or hotels at either end.
The Bournemouth Eye
You will experience a helium balloon flight rising to 500 feet offering spectacular views of 7 miles of Jurassic Coastline, encompassing Poole Harbour and the Isle of Wight and 20 miles around Bournemouth. The balloon uses the latest technology to provide a totally safe and truly exciting `high flying` adventure. Your flight will last approx. 10-15 minutes, so bring your cameras and binoculars to fully enhance your experience.
Remember to smile for the camera, as your photograph will be taken prior to your flight giving you the perfect souvenir. A passenger flight certificate is also available for your official record of your Bournemouth Eye experience. Alum Chine including Argyll Gardens
A chine is a steep dry river valley and Alum Chine is the largest of four Chines within Bournemouth. It offers shaded paths; the popular Treasure Island themed children's play area (author Robert Louis Stephenson lived close by) a paddling pool, tropical garden on the cliff face and bowls, catering and toilet facilities within the adjacent Argyll Gardens. Delight in the relaxed atmosphere of the wooded chine and magnificent sea views. If you prefer a quiet moment, the tropical gardens, which have their origins in the 1920's, provide an ideal area for contemplation.With the Blue Flag award winning beach down below, the gardens have become renowned for their award-winning facilities, striking landscape design and stunning views.
Bournemouth Rockery

The magnificent Grade 2 listed rockery in Bournemouth Lower Gardens is regarded as the largest municipal rockery in the United Kingdom, and since it was first created in the 1930’s by the esteemed Vietch nurseries to entice holiday makers down toward to seafront, it has had to continuously adapt to cater for the changing tastes of it visitors.
